The new smart counter leverages advanced RFID technology, moving beyond traditional barcode scanning. There is an RFID Garment label behind or inside the price tag of each cloth. This tag uses RFID technology for non-contact bidirectional data communication. Simply put, it is to read and write electronic tags through wireless radio frequency to achieve the goal of identifying costs. Customers can now place multiple items—even entire baskets—in the checkout zone for instant, simultaneous scanning. This drastically reduces wait times, eliminates the manual search for barcodes, and creates a seamless, frictionless payment process. The self-service check-out counter widely applied in some large shopping malls, supermarket, retail clothing stores, such as Uniqlo, Decathlon etc..
